Listed below are our primary services that we specialize in. Each is detailed and then matched with several projects to express examples of our work.
Beyond just these, we offer numerous other miscellaneous services that we don't advertise as much, although we happily accept and apply the same amount of precision and overall quality.
Also, we try to save you as much money as possible, and therefore utilize several discount options. For instance- the bulk discount: if you hire us for three services save 15% off, and 5+ services save 20-30% off! Another, is the referral discount: Help grow our company and receive 10% off, both you and the friend you referred!
Lawn Care
The backbone of our business.
This service includes the routinely established, repetitive lawn services such as grass-cutting, edging, trimming, weeding, and clean-up.
The more frequent you establish our service, the more you will save. For example: bi-weekly would cost, say, $60, while weekly would then be only $45-$50.
In addition, for every neighbor you lead to hiring this service, the more I can save both you and them! (Less traveling for me the better!)
Landscape Design
I consider this tier of services to cover the large, massively transformative projects that centralize around creative design. The homeowners of these properties gave me complete control during these projects and were very happy to see and enjoy the finished product. These projects exemplify the extensive experience and knowledge possessed by this crew.

Mulch Installation
We pride ourselves very highly on this service, as it is in fact the backbone of our business- especially during the starting years. Since we have been doing it so long, we have collected expertise ability to be able to compete it not just with pace, but with precision.
Every project we take on, we start by removing all existing debris and weeds and then cleanly edging around every border to ensure the new mulch looks pristine and will remain securely in tact. Next, we either lay weed barrier or preen in order to prevent the return of weeds, and then finally we install and perfectly level the mulch.

In the Spring of 2016 two high school juniors- Thomas Brooks and myself, Noah Klug- independently began a lawn care service with the hopes and dreams of saving money while avoiding being crammed in a fast food kitchen, earning minimum wage like the majority of their teenage counterparts. Job after job, day after day, we gained hands on experience and knowledge of landscaping and therefore became more and more professionalized and efficient.

After one year, Thomas departed the company due to accepting the honorable request to be a Mormon missionary in Wisconsin. With Thomas gone, I took the bull by the horns and gave the service everything I had, fully dedicating myself. Next, I evolved my business to match with my drive, so I bought a Tundra, named the company its official name, hired a handful of trustworthy, disciplined workers, researched heavily, and invested a lot. Since then, SSL has consistently grown both with regards to its size and its overall quality. Since our genesis we have proudly served hundreds of clients throughout the Orange and Spotsylvania area with high quality services with unbeatable bang for your buck!

I created SSL with the goal of providing students and myself an honest means of avoiding the seemingly inescapable trap of student debt; and also- committing myself to a worthy challenge and earning a great source of pride in serving my community and self.

My innate entrepreneurial, capitalistic inspired ambitions produced the motivation and dedication necessary to carry on and endure through the rough patches involved in running a small business. I strongly believe in the American dream, and am beyond thankful for the opportunities this country has given myself that allowed me to create this business.
